What Are We Learning?

Language Arts / Reading:

Spelling:  We will learn different ways to make the long /o/ sound.

Writing:  We will continue building our writing skills with our daily writing in our journals as well as continue to work on letter formation with our handwriting workbooks.

Reading:  WE ARE AMAZING!!!  Mrs. McCullough and Mrs. Vincenzo are amazed every day at how far we have all come with our reading and comprehension skills.  Our Reader's Workshop bags are filled with fiction and non-fiction books that we read every day (independently and with a partner).  WE LOVE READING!!!

Kids A-Z  (Raz Kids)  We had to update our app so things are a little different now.  The new app has so much more for us to read with.  You will need to input a new teacher's name for your class and go through that class as the other teacher name does not work anymore.  It might help to delete the app and then add the Kids A-Z app again so that the old class name disappears.   Here are the new class names:

1A:   msork0  (number not letter)
1B:   lvincenzo
1C:   jmccullough14
1D:   tceburks

***The passwords are still the same for each learner.
