Writing:  We will continue building our writing skills with our daily writing in our journals as well as continue to work on letter formation with our handwriting workbooks.

Reading:  We will continue to work on building good reading habits when using our reading strategies.  We love to read!!!

Social Studies:

In Social Studies, we will begin studying famous Americans and the influence they have made in our communities, states, and country! We can learn from positive choices made by these historical figures!

Math:

We will use our skip counting to determine the value of  a collection of pennies, nickels, and/or dimes.
Math Take Home Activity:
Have your child count groups of quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies with a maximum total value of $1.00.  If your child is up for the challenge, have him or her count a mix group of coins.  :-)

Science:

We will continue to review the seasons and record weather information.
