What Are We Learning?
Language Arts / Reading:
Next week's spelling rule: Using "silent e" to make the long /i/ sound.
During Reader's Workshop we will continue to use our reading strategies to build good reading habits individually and with a partner. We will also be practicing reading through poetry in our poetry folders.
During Writer's Workshop we will continue to use transition words to build a paragraph when writing. We are getting very good with topic sentences and closing sentences! We will also continue to use DOL to help us with editing when writing.
