We are continuing with non-fiction books during Reader's Workshop. We are learning strategies to help us be fluent while retaining comprehension of our non-fiction books. It is definitely challenging but first grade is up to the challenge!
Don't forget to download the Raz Kids App "Learning A to Z" so that your child can be reading leveled books at home! There is also some great non-fiction literature in the app for you to practice with your child at home.
